Approaching Norwegian Strike Aggravated Supply Disruption And Oil Prices Rose

Oil prices rose on Tuesday (10th) as concerns about potential supply shortages escalated. According to Reuters, hundreds of oil workers in Norway stroke later in that day, so Brent crude oil leads the rise. Hundreds of workers on the Norwegian oil and gas offshore drilling rig went on strike on Tuesday after they rejected a proposed wage agreement, which could affect the production of at least one oil field, Shell Knarr, and may also exacerbate supply disruptions in other oil-producing countries in tension in the Middle East.
