Traders said the Indian oil company (IOC) award the diesel contract from Oct 2017 to Mar 2018 to the Chinese traders Union Petrochemical Company.
Indian oil company issued a tender to sale eight ships with each 1.33-1.47 million tons of sulfur content of 0.2% diesel and 1,100 tons of sulfur per ship 50ppm diesel. These cargo will be loaded from Hordia.
One of the traders said the specific price of the bid was not confirmed, but could be a premium of $ 0.85 per barrel over the IOC formula.
