According to Iran's Financial Tribune reported on the 29th, Iranian crude oil exported to the EU reached 9.31 million tons, about 66.5 million barrels, an average of about 560 thousand barrels per day in the first four months of this year, which is more than 6 times of the same period last year.
It is reported that among the EU countries, Italian imports of Iranian crude oil is biggest, up to about 2.8 million tons; France and Spain are following, and they are respectively about 2.2 million tons and 1.1 million tons.
The report quoted Iranian state oil company official’s speech, according to the latest contract signed with the EU countries; Iranian crude oil exported to the EU will reach an average of 600,000 to 700,000 barrels per day.
The Report suggests that Iranian crude oil exported to the EU surges, which benefits from that the sanctions of Iranian relevant areas were lifted after the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue came into effect.
