Kazakhstan Will Have 1.2 Million Tons Of Gasoline For Export

According to the International Petroleum News, the Interfax news agency reported on June 27 that the Vice Chairman of the Kazakhstan National Oil and Gas Company Management Committee, Tijesov, said that Kazakhstan has changed from an oil exporting country to a petroleum processing country and will realize the export of refined oil. By the end of the year, there will be 300,000 to 400,000 tons of gasoline available for export, and it is expected to reach 1 million to 1.2 million tons by 2019, provided that the three major refineries produce sufficient quantities of refined oil according to established targets.

Tijesov stressed that it is imperative to sign the necessary intergovernmental documents with neighboring countries, and it is expected that refined oil will be supplied to countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan this autumn.
