Negotiations Break Down Total North Sea Drilling Platform Employees Will Strike Again
Aug 29, 2018

According to the news of Dow Jones London on August 24th, according to the employee's trade union organization on Friday, the negotiations of French energy giant Total Group UK branch and North Sea three drilling platform workers on Thursday broke down, and these drilling platforms may encounter further strikes in the future.

Prior to the failure of this negotiation, negotiations broke down earlier this month, which led to the strike of Total's Alwyn, Dunbar and Elgin oil rigs in the North Sea.

The union said in a statement: "The industrial actions we have announced in the plan are still in progress. In the next few days, the union will seek advice from our members on the next steps and will be appropriate, and will issue a statement at the appropriate time”.
