The Oil Production Of Venezuela Is Still Deteriorating

According to Dow Jones April 13 news, OPEC's data show that Venezuela's oil production in March fell by 55,000 barrels per day, fell to 1.5 million barrels per day, setting a new low for decades. Russ Daven of Caracas Capital Markets stated: “For Venezuela, the trajectory of its oil production is still rapidly deteriorating.” In addition to the 2003 strike against Chavez and the OPEC quota cut in the 1980s, this is the lowest output in Venezuela since 1949.
